Before we decide on a carer for you, we take the time to talk to you at length and understand your specific needs. We then choose the carers from our team who best meets your requirements, both in terms of their skills and their personality. It is important to us that you are totally comfortable with your carers, both personally and professionally and we will always take your wishes into account before allocating a carer to you.
Your carer's role
Your carer is there to assist you with a wide range of personal tasks, as appropriate to your own health and mobility. Help getting up/ going to bed, Preparing meals, Shopping, Washing and ironing, Personal Hygiene, Cleaning the home,
Washing and ironing, Mobility Issues and Assistance with medication. The important thing is that you have the final say over what should be done and when, and everything will be done at a time and at a pace to suit you. |
